MUSKOGEE HOUSING CONTRACTS WITH BGC ADVANTAGE FOR RAD CONSULTING
Muskogee Housing has contracted with BGC Advantage to assist in the continued study of the feasibility of transforming its three public housing developments under the Rental Assistance Demonstration program. BGC Advantage, using input and data from Muskogee Housing, will assist in a plan to convert the 400 units of traditional public housing at Port City Acres, Green Country Village, and Honor Heights Towers to a voucher funding format.
Benefits of conversion under the RAD program, among others, include a more reliable funding format and the ability to leverage the assets to complete capital improvements and renovations.
Muskogee Housing has completed six meetings with residents to obtain input and share information. Further meetings will be held in the future as more information is available.
